What is Climate Change?

The Earth's climate has been changing through history. Results in changes in weather patterns that can happen for decades, or even millennium. This has been drastically changing with scientists realising that global warming has has been increasing through the last 500,000 years.

We know that climate change is happening because of various reasons. Millions of years ago climate change occurred because of natrual factors. This icluded C02 levels, Earth's Natrual orbit, changes with the sun and much more.

But now, Climate change is cause by greenhouse gas emissions. When Sunlight reaches the Earth, some energy is reflected back into space. However, most of the energy is absorbed by green house gasses. Gasses are reflected in all directions making the Earth warmer. Gases that block heat from exiting the atmoshpere include water vapor, carbon dioxide, Nitrious dioxide, and Methane.

Humans are also responsible for the changes happening. Humans use fossil fuels, oil, coal and through the usage of this we release gases into the atmoshpere such as C02. These gases are released in excesive levels.

Evidence for climate change can be seen in Rising Sea levels, Extreme Events(Ex. Droughts, floods, Hurricans, etc...), Shrinking Ice Sheets and so much more.
